The Great 365 Project is off to a great start! The images shared on instagram are nothing short of amazing! Several times during the month, seeing your photos gave me the extra momentum I needed to keep going. For that I am grateful.
Although I didn’t meet every prompt, I consider the month a complete success! My images ran the gamut from lifestyle photos of my family to abstract images taken with my Lensbaby of fungus growing on an old stump. Just the sort of eclectic mix I was hoping for. A little bit of learning and stretching and a little bit of documentary.
After making the above collage, and realizing that I participated more often than I thought, I’m totally jazzed to keep going in February! I hope you are too!

I will be sharing my images over on instagram. When sharing on social media, use #TheGreat365Project and tag me @dianedownsphotography. I’d love to see your interpretations of the prompts and send high fives and encouragement your way! I’ll be sharing my photos on Instagram. I hope to see you there! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
As a reminder, registration is open for The 52 Project – a guided year long email based photo challenge to help you learn the functions of your camera and basic composition skills. I’d love to see you there!
